Place the soles of your feet flat on the earth, bringing your awareness to that connection, rooting yourself to this beautiful moment.
It can be difficult to close your eyes when you find yourself in a beautiful locale, but I encourage you to take a few moments with your eyes closed to awaken your other senses.
What do you hear? It's amazing what our ears suddenly tune into when we bring our attention there.
Do you smell anything? Even the fresh ocean air has a scent that we may not notice without taking the time.
How does your body feel in this moment? Take an internal scan, without judgement, simply bringing awareness throughout your body.
And with your eyes still closed, begin to notice your breathing. Allowing your lungs to gently expand with your inhales, and conciously relaxing and letting go with each exhale.
After a few rounds of breath gently open your eyes, continuing to breathe gently and deeply, enjoying the view.
